While you’ve been seeing “The Essence of Courage” featured as a great gift for your valentine, Cinnamah-Brosia and her friends have been planning the Official Book Launch Party for Sunday, February 19th at 2 PM. The theme is Late 1960’s – Early 1970’s style — the early day’s of Miss Dot’s Cafe. It’s all on Facebook — so you can come as you are, and enjoy the fun!
Each friend contributed an idea to fit the theme. Crystal, full of fun and creativity, popped in the Coffee Cottage early Monday morning. “C-B do you realize that Valentine’s Day is tomorrow. We’ve focused so much on the party, it almost escaped our notice. And just look what I’ve found! She opened an old cigar box filled with vintage valentine’s. Let’s share a few of these with our readers.”
“Crystal, what an absolutely wonderful idea to share these with our friends. They’ll be here soon. And let’s get busy posting them on the blog for our readers to enjoy, too.we never forgot. We’ve suggested the book to our readers as the perfect valentine, but perhaps we had forgotten each other a bit in our excitement. I do have a valentine for Jeremy, by the way. ”
“Let’s give the readers a valentine from Jesus, too,” Crystal added. “Wouldn’t this verse be perfect?”
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.” (1 John 3:1, NIV)
Which of these valentine’s do you remember giving and receiving from your friends? Thanks for finding pics of some you loved, and add them in the comments.
