The coming resurrection of God’s children glows gloriously beyond anything imagined in our earthly pilgrimage. Passing through, God delights us, however, with stunning displays of His beauty and creativity. New England in Autumn beckons millions to experience God’s breathtaking artistry with each colorful brushstroke of nature. Several years ago my husband and I eagerly anticipated — almost on tiptoe — the wonderful sights awaiting us. Sadly, as one gentleman we met told us, “I’ve lived here for 35 years. This is the worst Fall we have ever had. The leaves just turned brown and fell to the ground.” We concurred. It was nothing like the picture postcard vistas we had seen. The trees that particular year had not come into their own for Fall, and we experienced disappointment. Gratefully, God is preparing for the day His sons and daughters will come into their own and all the living colors of the home Jesus and The Father prepare for us. There will be no disappointment there. Praise God!
We’re enjoying God’s autumn beauty in the gardens around The Coffee Cottage. We’re eagerly anticipating the days ahead. In the meantime, praise Him for the beauty of nature we found right here. This video expresses what we hoped for that year. Enjoy!!!
